Customers are a source of inspiration. This is the premise on which the Fujitsu has developed its latest Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX2530 M2 server. In this sense, the M2 dual-socket generation is presented as a family of servers adaptable to any place, easy to manage and energy efficient. Likewise, it is committed to a perfect balance between the conflicting factors that tend to cause customers’ IT demands.
The features of these machines include, for example, the fourth generation of Intel Xeon processors, as well as a wide selection of form factors, which allows them to work for a large number of applications. In the same way, companies interested in the Fujitsu offer have at their disposal configurations prepared to tackle tasks that range from maintaining websites to controlling manufacturing processes.
As with the launch of any other machine, equipment or computer device, the manufacturer has developed different solutions capable of adapting to different business needs. One of them is PRIMERGY RX2530 M2 server, which has been conceived for scenarios of virtualization and horizontal scalability, as well as small databases and high performance computing.
Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX2530 M2, which is presented as a two-socket rack system, employs Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors
This proposal, which is presented as a two-socket rack system, uses Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors (maximum of 22 cores) and promises an expansion capacity of up to 1,536 Gb of DDR4 memory. In this sense, the choice of this kind of memory allows a greater bandwidth and a lower consumption, being optimized for those targets and scenarios to which the Japanese destine their product, including the computer cloud.
And the storage? The capacity for expansion and scalability is flexible, with various options and permits for the integration of both traditional hard drives and solid state drives. Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX2530 M2 server supports the integration of 2.5-inch storage units; and all under the structure and shape of a 1U housing for space saving.
Energy efficiency is also important, and for this reason we have opted for a Cool-Safe design and hot-plug power supplies that guarantee system maintenance and activity times that are close to 100%. For its part, the Fujitsu ServerView suite includes a package of tools focused on installation tasks, implementation, monitoring and permanent control, facilitating the work performed by administrators. Its availability is 24 x 7.
