This server Huawei FusionServer CH121 V5 is a compute node optimized to respond to virtualization services, cloud computing, HPC and Virtualization of Network Functions (NFV, for its acronym in English). It provides computing capabilities in high-density format and great memory performance and incorporates the latest Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, being compatible with the entire family of such processors and with power consumption of up to 205W. CH121 V5 has 24 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to two M.2 type SSDs.
The Huawei FusionServer CH121 V5 Server, with Intel Xeon Scalable technology of up to 28 cores per processor, supports -as we have already indicated- those 24 memory slots allow you to reach up to 3 Terabytes in DDR4 DIMMs and PCIe expansion slots, allowing acceleration service on demand.
It uses the advanced technology Dynamic Energy Management Technology (DEMT) in order to support an intelligent saving of energy, which leads to a reduction in consumption through the use of different technologies. These include hibernation components, automatic on / off for multiphase power supplies, and speed adjustment using PID algorithm (Proportional-Integral-Derivative).
In addition, the Huawei FusionServer CH121 V5 Server provides an intelligent way of managing the product life cycle (entire-lifecycle smart O & M) in order to provide greater efficiency in the deployment and O & M tasks (operation and maintenance). By providing open and standardized interfaces, supporting Restful API and IPMI 2.0, what is provided is seamless integration with third-party management software programs.
